I think the best part about curb shopping is you never know what you will find. So much inspiration just sitting there and people are just giving it away for free! Now that the weather is nicer I'll be seeing loads of stuff sitting out. People do a bit of spring cleaning and chuck out things they no longer want or need. So on Sunday night and even Monday night, the store is open for business. You know, because a lot of the cleaning is done on the weekend. I also find garbage night good for shopping. That is another popular time to people to get rid of their stuff and a good day for me to pick up a bargain. I just wish I had the nerve to jump out of my car and grab the goodies off the curb. I am still pretty shy and won't pick up something during the day or if their are people out and about. I have to wait til it's dark and the coast is clear. Today I have a pretty simple DIY to share with you. I remember seeing ceramic tiles all over Pinterest. Gosh, that was months and months ago. I remember thinking it was such an awesome idea to make them into coasters. For one it is easy to do  and for two it is a great way to customize something to match your style and decor. If you did some home renovating and have a few extra tiles left over this is a great DIY to put them to use rather than let them lie around collecting dust. Or if you are like me you'll find some at a garage sale for a steal. I paid fifty cents for eight tiles. Or I guess you might be extra lucky to find some while curb shopping. I have no idea how long I've had my tiles waiting around for me to work on them. Wait a second ...nope I can't remember when I purchased these ceramic tiles. I'm so weird sometimes. I worked on this no sew sleeve transformation months ago then forgot about it. I found the pictures already transferred into a file on my computer called no sew sleeves. And I was like - oh yah. That's what I`ll post this week. Easy right? I don't know. I just had a hard time figuring out what to call this. What would be the best title to grab attention and best describe what I made.  First was it a DIY.  A refashion, transformation or reconstruction. No not a reconstruction. What about upcycle. Is this just a t-shirt or is it a long sleeve T. I know. I was over thinking it. I don't usually do that. Most times I find it pretty simple to title a blog post. I just call it  what it is. I think I'm a crafting roll. Last week I transformed sauce tin cans into pretty white containers. If you missed that post you can click HERE to see it. And now this week I have a cereal box craft project for you. This isn't a new craft but it is decorated differently. To see what I mean click HERE . Oh and the instructions on how to make these picture frames is also on that post. Okay so I started with a discarded cereal box, glue, white felt, white material, white ribbon and white beads. As you can see the above picture is the before. And the picture right below is the after. This is me fooling around with the photo color and appearance. This is the cereal box craft project in the non-adjusted color scheme. Here is a closer look at the cute little box and beads which are both glued on with fabric glue.
