    1. Thanks Lorelai. I used to skate too but now I prefer to keep my boots on and help the granddaughters on the ice.

  4. ice skating is so much fun brings back memories of when I was a little girl skating with my Mom. I wish our area had more outdoor ice skating rinks available.

  6. My daughter has a little ice rink in her back yard that her husband made (she reminded me that we had one when she was little). So when the kids are learning they have a chair on the ice that they push around to help them learn balance. And when I was a kid my Dad made an ice rink in our backyard. It is good to start learning as a little kid.
