We hope you are just as delighted with our new additions to the shop as we are.
This week we are featuring vintage pillow cases. Now let's take a look and imagine the possibilities.
A Pillow Case is a Pillow Case
Our shop recently added these vintage linens to our inventory of goodies for you.
The set of two pillow cases on the left have adorable delicate flower vines winding through a pure white background. They are in great vintage condition.
All the pillow cases featured here would be perfect for mixing and matching with other linens to create your shabby chic bedscape.
In fact the set of pillow cases to the right would co-ordinate nicely with the delicate flower vines shown above. The colours are similiar but the size of the flowers are a wonderful contrast.
This pair of vintage pillowcases to the right are standard size and in great vintage condition! They would be perfect for mixing and matching with linens in blues and greens.

When A Pillow Case is Not a Pillow Case
Repurposing a pillow case is a fantastic way to preserve a bit of history and prevent our landfills from being overloaded.
There are so many projects on the internet, it is staggering. I am going to a list a few ways you can transform a pillow case or completely change it, using it as reclaimed fabric.
Some of the projects include:

- Make an apron
- Use curtain rings to clip pillow cases to make a shabby chic window treatment
- Add drawstrings and make whimsical laundry bags for the family
- Add some handles and make a tote bag
- Cut into strips or squares and make a colourful quilt

- Cut into one inch strips and make a rag rug
- Make an skirt.

I hope you will follow me also. Have you heard of Bloglovin'? I'm just trying to make sure everyone knows about GFC being discontinued in June so they are prepared with some other form of following system. I'm using G+ and Bloglovin' and there are a lot of other avenues out there. I just want to make sure knew about it too. I look forward to getting to know you. Thanks again for linking up with me.
