Adorable Christmas Tree Ornaments - Made from Buttons

Hello. And Welcome. I am so glad you are here. I hope you like today's project.

My six year old granddaughter and I enjoyed creating our very own unique ornaments for the Christmas tree.

We actually have another ornament to share sometime within the next couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to sharing that.

If you would like to see last year's ornament please click HERE.

I had a bit of stretchy cord that's used to string beaded necklaces or bracelets so we used it to make our tree ornaments.

Ornament made from buttonsI decided to make my ornaments look like pine trees. I alternated dark green and light green buttons to add a bit of visual interest. I also added two small dark green buttons to the bottom. I hope they look like the tree trunk.

Ornament made from ButtonsMy granddaughter wanted to make something unique. (We love reading Fancy Nancy who is very unique)

Faith's green buttons aren't in any particular order - free form. She found a shiny red bead and added it to the top. I really like how it turned out. How about you?

I love the curly cue ornament hangers that I found at the dollar store. Aren't they pretty?

    1. My granddaughter had fun making her ornament. I did too. It reminded me of my Mom's button collection and how I loved spending hours playing with them when I was a child.
