Crochet Pattern for Rainbow Hat with Ear Flaps

Please Share the Love I've made several hats now - mostly one color. I thought I'd make a multi-colored hat for a change. Something bright and beautiful. I chose fucia pink, a darker pink, peacock blue, lemon yellow, purple and lime green. Oh, and ear flaps. It has to have ear flaps. Materials 4mm Crochet Hook Red Heart Yarn. I ball for each color. 6 colors for the hat in image. Definitions CH – Chain, DC – Double Crochet, HDC – Half Double Crochet, SC – Single Crochet SLST – Slip Stitch, BEG – Beginning, REP – Repeat, 2TOG HDC Decrease – 2 Stitches Together to Decrease. Hat with Ear Flaps Pattern This pattern works in rounds. Round 1: Colour A – CH 4 and SL ST to the BEG CH to form a ring. Round 2: CH 2, then HDC 9 times around the ring. (CH 2 counts as 1 HDC = 10 HDC). SL ST at the end to the top of the BEG CH 2. Round 3: CH 2, then 1 HDC into the same joining stitch. 2 HDC into each stitch around th
